Who doesn’t like the combination of peanut butter and bananas? We all know Elvis sure did. He made it famous with his peanut butter banana sandwiches. Peanut Butter Banana Smoothies have become one my favorite thing to make for breakfast besides my pumpkin pie oatmeal. They are easy to make and a great replacement for that morning cup of coffee. You could say I’m kind of a banana freak. I keep frozen bananas in my freezer at all times so that I can make smoothies when I’m in the mood for a sweet treat. I like to use a peanut butter powder called PBfit instead of regular peanut butter in this smoothie. It gives it that delicious peanut butter flavor without all the extra fat. I definitely recommend trying it if you haven’t.
This smoothie is so good for your digestive system in the morning. Your stomach will thank you for giving it something nutritious and easy to digest. Most of the time I drink two of these before lunch. One when I get up and one after my workout. It gives me a good dose of energy and gets rid of belly bloat. Give it a try for a week and see how it makes you feel.Print
