Ancho Chile Sauce

Instructions

  1. Boil the water
  2. Remove the stems from the dried peppers
  3. Remove the seeds if you want less heat
  4. Place them in a heat safe bowl and cover with boiling water
  5. Let sit for 20-30 minutes, until the peppers have become soft
  6. Put the peppers and a two tablespoons of the steeping water into a blender and puree until smooth
  7. Add salt to taste
